HR 95086

Data taken with the commissionning of the Gemini Planet Imager instrument were released to the community. I and my co-authors used these data to confirm the planet status of HR 95086 b and characterize it. From photometry, the planet Teff is 600-1500K and log g is 2.1-4.5. Evolutionary models yield a mass of 4-14MJup for a wide range of plausible initial conditions (Sinit = 8-13 kB/baryon).
