Welcome

The Twelfth International Solar Wind Conference, organized by the Laboratoire d'Etudes Spatiales et d'Instrumentation en Astrophysique (LESIA) of the Observatoire de Paris, will take place at the Palais du Grand Large in Saint-Malo, France, from 21 to 26 June 2009. Please note that scientific sessions will start on Monday 22 June.

The purpose of this conference is to establish our state of knowledge in the relevant fields of solar and heliospheric physics. In particular, the conference will focus on the most recent findings on the corona, the origin and acceleration of the solar wind, its dynamical interactions throughout the heliosphere and the interstellar medium and its boundaries. The conference will have six planned sessions detailed here.

The program will be composed of both invited lectures and contributed talks and posters.

Refereed proceedings will be published by AIP, as soon as possible after the conference.
