Adaptive Optics activities at the Australian National University

In addition of its deep commitment to the Australian National facilities like Siding Springs Observatory, ANU is part of the Giant Magellan Telescope, and since recently, part of ESO as a strategic partner. Within the ANU, the Advanced Instrumentation Technology Centre core mission is to build instruments for astronomy. It is, together with the AAO, one of two optical/infrared instrumentation pole in Australia. Our focus is Near-Infrared imagers and Integral Field Spectrographs, and since 2012, Adaptive Optics. I will give an overview of our AO activities, covering applications and developments for GMT, Subaru GLAO, Gemini GeMS’s NGS2, as well as activities pertinent to the newly signed ANU-PSL collaboration (e.g. relative to Green Flash).
