CESRA news and Topical Issue 1. Call for papers: Solar Physics Topical Issue 2. New CESRA Board 3. Highlights of Solar Radio Physics 1. The CESRA2010 workshop, titled 'Energy storage and release through the solar activity cycle - models meet radio observations', in La Roche en Ardenne in June, will be followed by a Topical Issue in the journal Solar Physics. The Issue will contain contributed papers and two invited review papers, one on the quiet Sun radio emission and one on particle acceleration. This Topical Issue is open for all original research papers that match with the topics addressed in the workshop. The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2010. There is a page limit for the papers, 15 pages, and if your paper exceeds that length you need to negotiate it with the editors. The handling editor from Solar Physics is Lidia van Driel-Gesztelyi and the guest editors from CESRA are Alexander Nindos and Christophe Marque. We are now asking all interested authors to send a message to the CESRA guest editors, stating the name of the leading (contact) author/ authors and the tentative title of the submission. In order to help the refereeing process, we also ask you to give a short list of names of possible referees (all papers will be refereed as usual and referees will be selected by the editors). This message of intent should be sent to the guest editors before August 1, 2010: anindos@cc.uoi.gr , christophe.marque@oma.be The CESRA 2010 program can be checked at http://sidc.be/CESRA2010/program.php 2. During the workshop, the CESRA public business meeting held elections for three board members (board member and president Ludwig Klein wishing to step down and two board members having reached the end of their terms). Christophe Marque was elected as a new board member and Alexander Nindos and Silja Pohjolainen were re-elected. The board then chose Silja Pohjolainen as the new CESRA president. The CESRA board wishes to thank Ludwig for his active and successful work for the solar radio community! The full CESRA board is listed at http://www.lesia.obspm.fr/cesra/board.html 3. The website 'Highlights of Solar Radio Physics' will undergo some changes later in the Autumn, but contributions are welcome any time.
