Cassini/RPWS/HFR-Kronos
Access to Lesia-Meudon data products
Welcome to the Cassini/RPWS/HFR-Kronos server at LESIA (Laboratoire d'Etudes Spatiales et d'Instrumentation en Astrophysique).
This server provides the Cassini/RPWS/HFR data processed by the Cassini/RPWS group at LESIA. Several data series are archived and made available on this server :
The access to this server is restricted to the Cassini/RPWS scientific team.
Click here to enter to the server (login/password required).
If you wish to have access to this server please contact the webmaster.
He will contact the instrument Principal Investigator, Donald A. Gurnett (University of Iowa), and let you know if you are authorized to access to this server.
The Cassini/RPWS group at LESIA: 5 research scientists (B. Cecconi, L. Lamy, A. Lecacheux, M. Moncuquet, P. Zarka), 1 associate researcher (R. Prang), 1 post-doc (P. Schippers), 1 PhD students (A.-L. Gautier), 3 technical staff/engineers (P.-L. Astier, M. Dekkali, E. Holle).
The group is lead by P. Zarka.
This server is maintained by B. Cecconi.
This server provides the Cassini/RPWS/HFR data processed by the Cassini/RPWS group at LESIA. Several data series are archived and made available on this server :
- Level 0 data files (also referred to as K files): raw telemetry data containing only Cassini/RPWS/HFR data packets.
- Level 1 data files: Cassini/RPWS/HFR data in telemetry units.
- Level 2 data files: Cassini/RPWS/HFR data in physical units.
- Level 3 data files: high level Cassini/RPWS/HFR products (mainly goniopolarimetric data).
- Level 4 data files: Radio source location and parameters (assuming a emission mechanism and a magnetic field model).
- Daily summary plots (in PDF).
- Daily list of operating modes.
- Daily ephemeris data files.
- Normalized flux density series and polarization series of the Saturn Kilometric Radiation.
- QTN data derived from the ambiant plasma noise on the RPWF/HFR antennas.
- hierarchical and chronological access to the data.
- search engine on the receiver operating modes.
- simple 24h summary plots browser. (Public data browser)
- list of documentation and paper linked to the data. (Public Documentation)
- SKR Phase Systems service with downloadable time series and links to reference papers.
- an orbital study of the final phase of the Cassini mission, including potential radio source crossings.
The access to this server is restricted to the Cassini/RPWS scientific team.
