June 6th, 2007 - Lectures concerning the sun, space weather, space missions and exoplanets will be given, starting at 4:00pm. Furthermore there will be guided tours through the institute.

Observatory Lustbuehel (Graz)
June 11th, 2007 - Lectures and guided tours will be given, starting at 3:00pm.
--> "The IHY Open Doors Day started on Monday 11th of June at 15:00 with a lecture on stellar evolution at the Observatory Lustbuehel. The satellite laser ranging station and the astronomical part of the observatory were presented to the visitors in a guided tour. Finally we explaned the radio antennas used for solar and jovian radio astronomy and showed an outlook of the work in progress. About 20 visitors attended the Open Doors Day including people of all ages."

May 8th, 2007 - June 10th, 2007 - Every Tuesday there will be observations of the sun from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
There were no observations of the sun on Open Doors Day because of the bad weather. About a dozen of people participated at the guided tour through the institute. There were observations of the sun on June 5th and on June 19th with about 20 to 30 participants.
